"As a Hospitality Management student, it has a useful benefits, particularly for us who seek to work in hotel, resort, restaurant, and other service-related businesses. This course as for us HM students, teaches and cater us effective communication skills, wherein we learn to engage with people with different backgrounds as well as cultural awareness. We learn leadership and management skills, including operating day-to-day, managing staff, and delivering excellent service. As we have those kinds of subjects. We will gain practical experience through internships and on-the-job training as well as the duty in department, which prepares us for the real world. Above all, it makes you a well-rounded person imparting discipline, professionalism, and flexibility qualities that will stand in good stead not only in hospitality but in life generally.
As a Tourism student, I have improved my confidence, communication skills, and adaptability. I am more comfortable engaging with different people and am curious about professionalism in the tourism industry. My understanding of various cultures and destinations has grown, making me more appreciative of their traditions and trends. I am more open-minded about learning experiences, especially when dealing with different types of tourists and situations.
